In February 2013, the W.B. Nickerson Cape Cod History Archives discovered a partial score to the song dated January 6, 1930, in the Milton Adolphus papers. Adolphus appears to have composed the song under contract with lyrics by Scwandt, with subsequent authorship assigned by the rights holders to Andre.
