Michele Tyler was a student at star fleet academy during the 2250's and planned on becoming a science officer. In 2258 she received the opportunity to temporarily serve on the USS Eagle (NCC-956). On her way to the Eagle she met a young ensign named Zach Banner, later she introduced him to her friend Clause Elberg, the three soon became friends. (Star Trek: Eagle)
