The Gandaru were a tribe in the area of the Lamatath Plain on Genabackis. The Gandaru were not quite human. They bore features which were both human and animal and were dark-skinned, slope-browed, with broad, full-lipped mouths. The males were described as strong and hard-working. Their diet included grubs and the yolk of snake eggs. They were cousins to the Kindaru and Sinbarl.
