Plodgett was a servant of the Satabs of the planet Ventooine. A sentient of unknown origin, Plodgett served the final Satab by spying on his wife, Chrysalla. When Han Solo came to Ventooine, Plodgett spied on the foreigner under the Satab's orders. When the Satab became suspicious that Chrysalla and Solo were having an affair, Plodgett released a Cavern Monster on Solo. However, the foreigner was able to defeat the beast and won the Satab's favor. When the final Satab was defeated, Plodgett was nowhere to be seen, and it is unknown whether or not Plodgett went unpunished by the new government.
