Fame was an NBC and syndicated TV series that aired from 1982 to 1987, based on the 1980 movie of the same name, focusing on students at New York City's High School for the Performing Arts. In Muppet Magazine issue 2 (1983), Kermit the Frog visited the set of Fame to interview the cast, assisted by Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Rowlf, and several rats. Apart from Debbie Allen and Albert Hague, both reprising their teacher roles from the movie, the article spotlighted the young actors playing students.
