Defender From Beyond was a Mastery 5 air Battle spell which summoned a spirit from beyond the grave, who was granted limited physical form and the use of certain skills for the duration of its stay. It appeared as a ghostly reflection of its former self, complete with armor and daisho. It represented the spellcaster in an iaijutsu duel. It was created by the Kitsu Shugenja, which had a deep connection with the spirits of their ancestors.
