Duddle Pollspike was the husband of Tutty and father of Clematis Roselea and Arundo. The family resided on a raft, in which they went up and down the Great South Stream. The Pollspikes assisted Bryony and Togget in their pursuit of Veil Sixclaw by taking them down the river. He admired Bryony's character when she mentioned her responsibilty to find the ferret. Later they took Sunflash the Mace and crew to Redwall Abbey. Duddle was an acquaintance of Ilfril.
