Warte wanted to expand his control when he realized his former ally Malleo had expanded his rule while Warte ruled nothing. He then founded the Warte Militia, and seized a factory. The (at the time) Sawbcon republic tried to reason with Warte, but Warte would not negotiate. Warte renamed his organization the Subshevik Army.
