Sebastian Vettel's 2012 season was his sixth season in Formula One. He started the season as World Champion for the second time, having won his second title at the 2011 Japanese Grand Prix. His first victory of the season was at the Bahrain Grand Prix. He then went on to win three Grands Prix in row, in Singapore, Japan and South Korea. He took the Driver's Championship, three points ahead of Fernando Alonso.
