The Battle of Kamino was an attack by the Galactic Empire upon the Kaminoan cloning facilities to stop the Kaminoans creating a clone army to use against the Empire. As it happened, the Kaminoans had already done so and the Empire had to fight a clone army to reach and destroy the facility.
