Joseph Turkel (born in Brooklyn, NY, USA on July 15, 1927) is an American character actor of renown for his appearances in three of Stanley Kubrick films (The Killing, Paths of Glory and The Shining), the war picture The Sand Pebbles, Roger Corman's The St. Valentine's Day Massacre (with Jack Nicholson) and Ridley Scott's Blade Runner (with Harrison Ford).
