The Armenian Protection Doctrine was a doctrine set forth by the League of United Armenians which stated they reserved the right to declare war on nations who have actively and aggressively persecuted and/or attacked non-member or non-aligned Armenian nations because of their ethnicity or their Christian faith. It also stated they reserved the right to aid and defend other Armenian nations from unreasonable attacks and persecution.
