Harlem is a New York district in Manhattan known for its high African-American population. It was divided into Central Harlem and the East Neighborhood. Many Corleone shylocks operated out here until the Five Families War when they were taken over by freelancers. A socialite named Queenie was known to run operations here, disguised as high society businesses. In the 1930s, Harlem's Juke's Joint was a popular nightclub and a hangout for Luca Brasi, Sonny Corleone and Tom Hagen. Luca Brasi also had several operations in Harlem in the 1930s.
