Casper Southman was a Manticoran citizen and an officer of the Royal Manticoran Navy. Holding the rank of Lieutenant, he served as Rear Admiral Mark Sarnow's staff intelligence officer. He was killed when HMS Nike's flag brigde was hit in the First Battle of Hancock and a splinter from a ruptured bulkhead decapitated him. (HH3)
