The Cobra medium tank was a type of battle tank primarily used by the Confederate States of Earth and the Confederacy of Independent Systems (with a few captured ones being used by the Galactic Republic and Union of Earth States) during the Battle of Earth. With a top speed of 50 MP/H It was faster than the Black Mamba super-heavy tank and the Python heavy tank but slower than the Adder light tank. A "Cruiser tank" the Cobra was meant to be able to operate independently of the infantry to punch holes through enemy lines which the infantry could then exploit, however it had been seen being used as an "Infantry tank", in other words directly supporting infantry attacks.
