Joe was a mercenary working for Ira Gaines during Day 1. He helped load up Gaines' vans with equipment from the main building in the compound. At roughly 11:40am, another guard commented to Joe that they didn't have time for lunch. While Gaines was on the phone, he turned to Joe and asked where Eli Stram was. Joe didn't know, so Gaines asked a couple of other guards, who also had not seen him. ("Day 1: 11:00am-12:00pm")
