Roughly 15 miles long, Waterhouse River starts at the southernmost point of Lake Whitman and winds down through Wilde, eventually joins with the Kahlo River, and continues into Osten where it feeds into the ocean at Bronte Beach. The Waterhouse is roughly 2 miles across at its widest where it feeds into the saltwater at Bronte Beach, and varies between being 1/2 and 1 full mile wide for most of its length. It is home to various canal boats with a few ports and piers that sit between stretches of more natural vegetation.
