The Cadence Charm (incantation: gleichschritt) is a spell used to force two or more people to walk in step by preventing any of them from taking a step unless all are stepping with the same foot. Beatrice Hawthorne used a Cadence Charm on Anna Chu and Alexandra Quick in September 2008 when Chu and Quick were assigned to join the Junior Regimental Officer Corps.
