The Iron Golem is an enemy from the original Final Fantasy. The sturdiest of golems (in the original version) appears as a rare encounter on Temple of Chaos 4B. Having much better physical Defense compared to the previous two golems as well as the usual elemental resistances, the Flare spell is the most effective spell to use against this enemy.
