The glide shot is when a slide shot is used off of a wall or platform. As the slide shot cannot be cancelled, you slide in the air. This is very useful when your ground speed is slower than your opponent's, as it allows you to negate the difference through slight lag exploitation. It is also good for countering egg-dropping, as it causes the Umbrellas to hit the wall you slid off from, and still lets you hit with your gun.
