Episode 1: The First Turnabout is the first episode of the game Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney and follows Phoenix Wright's first case as a defense attorney. In his first trial, Wright must defend his childhood friend Larry Butz, who has been accused of murdering his ex-girlfriend Cindy Stone.
