An Alcalite bar is a bar of alcalite. It can be created through the Smithing skill at level 63 by using an alcalite ore and three pieces of coal on a furnace, granting 50 Smithing experience, or by using the magic spell Superheat Item. An alcalite bar can be forged on an anvil to create alcalite equipment, granting 80 Smithing experience per bar used. If used with water, it changes into a reacted alcalite bar.
