Formerly designated "Phase One" by the Union Aerospace Offworld Research Division, the Alpha Labs began construction on October 29th, 2095 and became fully operational July 17th, 2130. Originally created as the prime science and research facility, Alpha Labs were responsible for the development of leading edge technologies, such as the Elemental Phase Deconstructor, Hydrocon, and Molecular Fuel Storage Compressor, all utilized by Alpha Labs itself. These endeavors allowed for expansion into the UAC's newer research facility, Delta Labs.
