Red dragon-hide gauntlets are a type of gauntlets in ADOM. They have a base stats of (-2, +0) [+0, +2] and provide intrinsic fire resistance when worn. They appear as red gauntlets when unidentified — the same as red leather gauntlets (which are made from leather and do not provide fire resistance). They can be distinguished from their leather counterparts due to the -2 to-hit penalty. This, however, can only be checked by equipping them. As all dragon-hide gauntlets are made of iron, players should be careful with these items while using mist elven characters.
