The Imperial Defense Force was a military division of Tachyon's Empire designed to "defend" planets under Tachyon's control. The Imperial Defense Force was largely responsible for searching Stratus City on Kortog for Ratchet, who was wanted for several crimes, including the theft of an Imperial Cruiser.
