Melisa Wallack is an American screenwriter. She was named one of Variety’s “10 Screenwriters to Watch” in 2005, and has written for both feature films and television. She wrote the original screenplay for Meet Bill (2007), and directed the independent feature with Bernie Goldmann. The movie starred Aaron Eckhart, Jessica Alba, Elizabeth Banks, Logan Lerman, and Timothy Olyphant. She conceived the screen story for Mirror Mirror (2012), which became the hit fantasy comedy directed by Tarsem Singh and starring Julia Roberts, Lily Collins, and Armie Hammer. Her big break came in 2013 with Dallas Buyers Club for which she co-wrote with Craig Borten.
