The Imperial Constitution is the constitution of the Youngian Empire. Progmulated in 19 BMY, the Constitution was heavily based on the Galactic Chater of the Youngian Republic, but with important modifications to the judicary system, legislature, executive, military, and local government. The Constitution laid out the powers and operations of the Youngian Senate, the powers and duties of the Emperor, as well the basic frame-work of the judicial system and of the military. The Constitution also included articles on relations between the central and local government, on commerce, education, and on Youngian religion.
