The V5 EMP Grenade is an explosive device, that when it detonates, releases a small electromagnetic pulse that short circuits all nearby electronic devices. It does not have the power of the II-14 EMP as it is much smaller, but it is nearly just as effective as it can be thrown by hand rather than placed on the ground.
