Forgetfulness is a status ailment that appears in Mother 3. It functions similarly to the inability to concentrate that appeared as a status ailment in EarthBound, and disable a character's PSI or other special techniques, such as Thief Tools. A forgetful character will have an icon with a question mark above their head. The status can be cured by using a Recollection Bell or any level of Healing, and will disappear on its own after the battle.
