Alfred Pennyworth is a central character on the television series Knight of Gotham. He is Bruce Wayne's personal butler, valet, and confidant, as well as one of the only people who knows Bruce's secret identity as Batman. When Bruce returned to Gotham City after travelling abroad for ten years, Alfred becomes his staunchest ally when he decides to become the vigilante crime fighter Batman and launch a campaign on crime. He is portrayed by Timothy Dalton.
