The Gold Mine of Fire Island was a mine ruled over by the Lizard King, and enforced by his Lizard Men guards. The miners are Humans, Elves and Dwarves enslaved after the Lizard Men took over the control of Fire Island. Some of them are previous convicts from Port Blacksand, other were kidnapped by the Lizard Men as life expectancy in the mines is pretty short and the Lizard King wants more slaves at work in the mine.
