The Bear Trap is a return top developed by CLYW in 2009. It had never reached the shelves. It is an aluminum-bodied yo-yo with a Butterfly shape with thickened rims forming an H-profile, along with a large C-bearing and silicone pads. The rims are also part of metal side caps can be attached securely to the body or removed. Collectible side caps were also planned to be released for the return top. It is currently on exhibit at the Museum of Yo-Yo History.
