Most Jews consider the idea of Jesus being God, or part of a Trinity, or a mediator to God, as heresy.(Emunoth ve-Deoth, II:5) Most Jews also do not consider Jesus to be the Messiah primarily because they do not believe him to have fulfilled the Messianic prophecies of the Tanakh, nor embodied the personal qualifications of the Messiah.
