Jean-Pierre Matte made his only American TV appearance in the show Miami Vice as Jean Faber, a drug dealer and smuggler who ordered A.D.A. Robert Langley (played by Jon DeVries) killed by Philippe Sagot (played by Lothaire Bluteau) because Langley was getting close to bringing down Faber's connections in the episode "One Way Ticket".
