Alec was a mortal who bought Phoebe Halliwell a drink at Quake. After her her friend left, Phoebe noted Alec sitting at the bar and suddenly had a premonition about him coming up to her. A few moments later, her premonition came true when Alec offered her a drink. Phoebe surprised him by knowing his name, which she called a lucky guess. They got a table and later went out, as the following day, Piper mentioned that Phoebe did not come home until at least 3.00 am.
