Goraishi (五雷指, "Five Thunder Fingers") was Kōga's weapon which he received from his ancestors. It was a powerful heirloom of the Wolf Demon Tribe which creates energy blasts that are equal to that of a fully-powered Wind Scar. When Kōga entered the graveyard of the Wolf Demon Tribe, he sought out the tribe's most valued treasure, the Goraishi. After he selflessly abandoned the treasure in order to save Ginta and Hakkaku from the grave guardian's flames, the claws were bestowed upon him. Kōga was told that the claws will help ward off Midoriko's influence on Kōga's Shikon Jewel shards. The Goraishi has literally become a part of Kōga.
