The Oni's head (鬼の首) was a demon who possessed a lord and killed the lady of the castle. She then impersonated the lady of the castle and began gathering souls from traveling priests. Miroku almost became the hundredth victim of this Oni, which would have fully resurrected her and restored her powers. However she was sucked into Miroku's Wind Tunnel in the end.
