The Prackla Trade Council was an association of businessbeings and merchants established during the last decades of the Galactic Republic on the planet Cartao, with the aim of furthering business interests on Cartao and the Prackla sector as a whole. Although the Prackla Trade Council had a clearly-defined mission, the general consensus among independent traders and businessbeings was that the Council members worked for their own, personal gain, and not that of the membership.
