St. John Cropper was the father of Roy Cropper and ex-husband of Sylvia Goodwin. St. John and Sylvia dated when she was nineteen years old, and she later gave birth to Roy in 1954. St. John left his wife and child and went on to marry a woman named Margaret. The pair had three children: Isabelle, Jonathan and Stephen. He suffered a fatal heart attack in February 2013.
