Ixtzul is a lost city deep within the jungles of Far Payit on the continent of Maztica. Although the city was abandoned hundreds of years ago, it remains in very good condition because of the caretakers created by the city's last ruler, Greyst. Before he died, Greyst used Hishna magic to create a colony of giant, intelligent ants. These ants have worked to keep the pyramids and other major builings in good repair. They also work to renew the wards that keep the Star Worm bound in his lair.
