The Long Shadow was a lifeless region of space at the farthest edge of the galaxy in the distant Outer Rim Territories, home to only a supermassive black hole rumored by spacers that had seen it to be slowly consuming the galaxy. Navigating the Long Shadow required a special sensor computer, hyperdrive and radiation shielding. It held a derelict ship containing the treasure of Nok Drayen. After acquiring the necessary components, the smuggler that would become known as the Voidhound traveled to the Long Shadow to acquire the treasure before the black hole consumed the ship.
