Theo Landley (born 8th November 1975) played Alex in the 2008 spin-off DVD Coronation Street: Out of Africa. He was born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa and trained at the London Royal Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. His television roles include Heat of the Sun, Silent Witness, To the Ends of the Earth and Generation Kill while his film roles include parts in I Dreamed of Africa, Man to Man and Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. Theatre roles in include Death of a Colonialist, The Graduate and Address Unknown
