The Lake City Farmers Market is held on Thursdays from May to October. It is located l block west of Lake City Way next to the Fire Station. The Farmers Market has fresh flowers, produce from over a dozen organic local farms, a couple of organic meat vendors ( one is Thundering Hooves ), and a couple of bakeries. I have also seen vendors selling very interesting flower bulbs in the fall there too. Molly Burke is the organizer of the market and does a great job.
