"A Brand New Day/Everybody Rejoice" is a song from the 1975 Broadway musical The Wiz written by Luther Vandross. It was later featured in the 1978 film version. In "Barely Legal", when it is announced that the entire Quahog police department has been sent to South America, the town's African-American residents shed their disguises as white people and dance and sing to "Everybody Rejoice".
