The Brightest Day is a foretold event told to Abin Sur by Qull of the 5 Inversions, and formally documented in the last chapter of the Book of Oa. According to the Prophecy of the Blackest Night, the Brightest Day would follow the Blackest Night after the outbreak of the War of Light, and the destruction of all lights by the ambiguous and unmerciful forces of The Black.
