Bergil was the ten year old son of Beregond, older brother of Borlas. Bergil remained in Minas Tirith during the invasion of Gondor and made friends with the young Hobbit Peregrin Took, acting as his guide to the white city.Later he followed his father to Ithilien and eventually settled in Pen-arduin.
