Fendrilon Magellan was a Grand Admiral of the Dark Empire, a government created by the reborn Emperor Palpatine. A distinguished fleet admiral of the Imperial Navy, he was one of the six individuals appointed as a Grand Admiral, as all previous Grand Admirals were dead by that point. Magellan graduated the Corulag naval academy as a gunnery officer, being very proficient with all sorts of weapons before he even came to the academy. During his time there, Magellan also learned and demonstrated good tactics and strategy, however, his primary specialty remained in weaponry. During the Galactic Civil War, he rose to the rank of fleet admiral and started up an advanced weapons factory in a remote sector.
