Johnson had a handful of small television roles in the 1980s. She appeared on such series as Remington Steele (created and directed by Robert Butler), Hill Street Blues (which starred Barbara Bosson and James B. Sikking), and L.A. Law (with Corbin Bernsen, Earl Boen, George Coe, Christian Slater, and Ray Wise). Her made-for-TV movies include The Violation of Sarah McDavid (with Fran Bennett, Robert Picardo, and James Sloyan), Fatal Vision (with Paddi Edwards, Joel Polis, Mitch Ryan, Wendy Schaal, and Brian Thompson), and The Long Hot Summer (with Albert Hall).
