Bobby appears as one of Grover's exercise assistants, with his partner Sissy, in the 2005 Sesame Street special Happy Healthy Monsters. In a Sesame Street sketch, "Grover's Monster Workout Video", one of Grover's exercise assistants is also named Bobby, but he is a Green Anything Muppet and is performed by David Rudman. Bobby and Sissy's names are a reference to Bobby Burgess and Cissy King, a popular dance team on The Lawrence Welk Show in the late 60s and 70s who were known as "Bobby and Cissy".
