HH Champion (Henry Hyde Champion; January 22, 1859 - April 30, 1928)was a British Christian Socialist social reformer. In 1888, Champion joined with Annie Besant and her socialist journal, The Link, Catherine Booth and William Booth to help the Matchgirls Union defeat the Bryant & May company (Matchgirls Strike of 1888). He was the first to publish a book by George Bernard Shaw (Cashel Byron's Profession, 1886). In 1889 Champion emerged with Ben Tillett, Tom Mann and John Burns as one of the leaders of the London Dock Strike.
